Sonic was an easy choice for my weekly Twitch schedule. It was my first love on the consoles when I got the Sega Megadrive for Christmas in the early 90’s. So let’s speed back through it all every Wednesday!
There really was something special about 1991’s Sonic the Hedgehog, something none of the other platformers of the time seemed to have. All of the sequels for that gen were also pretty cool. In fact I’d say Sonic 2 tops the original.
For my first run of Sonic on Twitch though I’ll be returning to the Dreamcast era with Sonic Adventure. I did do one stream last month running the Steam version of the game, but I’ve changed my mind since then and I’m going to run the GameCube version instead. I did make my own overlay and ring gifs which you can see in the image below. If anyone would to use that overlay for themselves feel free to drop me a message.
